We are delighted to collaborate with ArtNetdlr in support of local artists.
We are a 12,500 sq. ft. “white pub”, and as such we are more than a venue in the typical sense. We are an exhibition space for over 100 paintings/ceramic works at any one time. Each exhibition, which is professionally curated in conjunction with ArtNetdlr, changes every 3 months and is launched at a fun open evening.
Our function room also hosts a separate solo exhibition which changes on a monthly basis. Bottom line is that all artwork is for sale, we don’t charge a commission and would love you to pop in for a browse.
DUENDE opening 10th July 2024
Join us for a special opening of our major group exhibition DUENDE at Walters, featuring 90 artists of dlr, Artnetdlr members. Artist Sean Molloy will open the show.
‘Duende’ explores the idea of soul and the awareness of death, in art and life, both sharing the sense of tragedy or pain moving the creative energies, and having more fire and drama in it. ‘Duende’ has been defined as the spirit of evocation, “a state of tragedy-inspired ecstasy.”
